Lochaber is the perfect playground for winter sports enthusiasts or equally for kids who want to have their first try at sledging. It is only 7 miles to Nevis Range, so if you would like to try skiing or snowboarding you are only a few minutes away and if you like to get a bit of variety Glencoe also has a ski station and is only about half an hour away . February is Mountain Festival time with loads of workshops, talks and competitions with loads of discounts on a wide range of activities. Everything from outdoor first aid course, red deer photo safari, painting, learning to ski or snowboard, hill races and lots, lots more.
